As a design geek married to an architect, I think this might just just be the funniest thing I have ever seen. The brilliant folks at Unhappy Hipsters re-captioned Dwell Magazine photos to better express the feelings of the sad looking people in the beautiful modernist homes.Example: "He tried to focus on the novel, and not how much his bedroom reminded him of a plywood coffin."
It is my favorite thing on the internets since Old Jews Telling Jokes.
I have to agree that room is a little sad. Raw plywood is definitely not too inviting is it? lol!

ReplyDeleteOh, isn't that true! I hate homes that have no soul and life to them. I'm much more a maximumist than a minimalist.
ReplyDeleteI kind of love most of the homes featured, but still think it's hilarious.
ReplyDeleteawesome. i love them.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite: "He is sad because his house looks like an elementary school. And all the children have died."
