adorable!! I love basil...luckily my landlords let me raid their garden! Last year their basil turned into huge bushes. I still have soooo much pesto in the freezer.
I tried to grow plants from seed, and it worked, but once I got them outside pretty much nothing further happened. They never 'produced' anything is the best way I can describe it. It was fun to watch them grow though.
