What did we do with our little break? We went to North Carolina to see our friend Amanda and it was ridiculously beautiful!
More on our delightful trip later, but for now let me just say that where Amanda lives, rhododendrons grow wild. Everywhere. Even in the cracks in rocks. And I just don't think that's fair.
Beautiful, painterly image. (And no it doesn't seem fair)
ReplyDeleteI really like this photo. It's very calming and peaceful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing it!
Aww, my parents live in the mountains of NC!! I love going sooo much during the fall. I feel like people don't get it until they've been there.
ReplyDeletethat pic is so pretty, looks like a setting of a novel :)
ReplyDeleteThat scene is precisely what I'm craving right now: fresh air, open fields, the clear mark of fall...it's perfectly pastoral.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love North Carolina and I love your blog. It just makes me happy when I see there is a post of yours to be read.
ReplyDeleteStunning! Truly. What a photo.
ReplyDeleteWe have friends who are currently trying to recruit us to move to Asheville with them next summer. It's enticing, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteWe have a cabin in the NC mountains. The rhododendrons are huge!!! I wish I could transport some of them to our backyard in Atlanta. Can't wait to hear about your trip....I love it there!
ReplyDeleteThat place sounds dreamy! can't wait for more photos!
ReplyDeleteWild rhododendrons? Definitely, definitely not fair.
ReplyDeleteI love your photo- looks like North Carolina was gorgeous.
Amazing. That photo is incredible, and has me craving a little fall color here in the Bay!
