left behind

Maybe it's because "Hoarders" has me fantasizing about tearing the garage down rather than cleaning it out (yup, I'm still traumatized) but I can't stop looking at German photographer, Marcus Buck's images of architectural remains.

They're so beautiful, the scars left behind when a building is torn down, the peeling paint in what used to be a living room, the ladder rungs going from the absent roof to the remaining one.

  9. After your post I had to check Hoarders on you tube. Oh my God. Scaring.

The house next to the one I grew up in was bombed during second world war, and looked like these pictures. It's been like that until I was ten. I passed by going to school and used to think about the people that used to live inside. There was still some scraps of wallpaper here and there...so sad.
