take the cake


I made a cake just because I was in the mood to bake.  But now I need someone to come take it out of my house.

    YUM! Ok i don't want the whole cake because if the whole cake was in my house I would eat the whole stupidly delicious thing! So just send me a piece. :)

    Ha! I had a friend right after college who would bake at night and then leave bags of goodies at her friends' doors. Miss that girl :)

    Abigail, the cake is gorgeous. But this is why I try to avoid baking cakes unless they have somewhere to go -- it's so easy to want to eat it all yourself! Are there friends or a work place you can bring it to? Such situations are fantastic -- they'll ooh and ahh and praise your talent and you make sure you don't sit there with a fork and eat it all alone.
