love letters


After seeing Abbey's post about Eero Saarinen's list of his wife Aline's best attributes, I remembered that much of their correspondence is available on the Smithsonian's Archives of American Art website, and I started reading.


And I have to say that Eero Saarinen wrote one hell of a love letter...


Not sure I want to know what he was gonna do with that razor blade.... but dayum!  I think I'm in love with him.
