We pulled out our zucchini today because no matter how lovely the weather and how much I want to deny it, winter is coming. The plant had two flowers and a few tiny zucchinis so we decided to cook them for dinner tonight.

appetizer of goat cheese stuffed zucchini flowers.
(is it me or do the fried zucchini flowers look like fried grasshoppers or something? Or at least what I imagine fried grasshoppers would look like.) (plates by Makkum.)and dinner of grilled zucchini, grilled romaine (sounds weird, tastes fantastic!) salmon for me, steak for Steven and mashed potatoes.

The baby zucchini were so good, next year I am going to pick them all when they are that small.
