Every year around this time Steven stocks up on the super gross traditional Milanese Christmas bread/cake, panettone. He loves it and will eat a big hunk every morning for breakfast from the time the panettone appears in stores in November until they run out of it sometime in January. I hate it and will make a face it each morning as Steven eats it.
Maybe I would like it better if it came in these delightful boxes by Purpose, but probably not.

it's not just Steven...my dad and I have a soft spot for the chewy holiday cakes too. i bet it'd go good with noccino...
every year my in-laws have at least one during our time there and keep trying to pawn it off on us....i'll have it shipped directly to steven because that stuff is incredible un-appealing.
I terribly wasteful Italian tradition is to play soccer with panettone after new years because everyone is so sick of eating it.
playing soccer with panettone! now that's a tradition I can enjoy!
