hard case

The New York Times has a helpful article of "Gifts for Hard Cases".  I love this chalkboard oil cloth,

 and like these wine glasses (although that'd be a BIG glass of wine, and they'd be hard to clean) among other things they suggest, but I still don't know what on earth to get my brother.
