lunatic

the sky is clear here today, for now, I probably just jinxed it, so we might be able to see the biggest and brightest moon in 15 years.  Tonight's will be 30% brighter and 14 % bigger than other full moons because it will be closer to earth than usual (apparently because the moon's orbit is wobbly.  does anyone else find that disturbing?)
More info from National Geographic.
