In memory of Martin Luther King the Obamas have asked us to participate in "creating the change we want to see" and volunteer this weekend. They have set up a website, usaservice.org, that makes it super easy to find events where you live.
We signed up to make care packages for veterans families when we are in DC on Monday and are going to go donate to a blood drive here in Ann Arbor tomorrow.
