in season

one of my favorite things  to eat is only available only for a couple months a year and is in season right now: soft shell crabs!  
We usually roll them in a little flour and saute them, but I have read that they are really good grilled.  I found this recipe for Grilled Soft Shell Crabs with Lemon Mayonnaise and Apple-Fennel Salad that sounds delicious, except I hate mayonnaise so I'll just use plain old lemon.
