can you dig it?

Putting in the fence this weekend was a chore! As a group, the Hunt Park gardeners decided to put in one big fence around the whole garden instead of around each plot to save money, time and materials, but it was still a lot of work.
Worst part was digging the trench to keep groundhogs out.
Everyone worked really, really hard and we got it done, though. And did a really good job, I think.
The groundhogs don't stand a chance.
This afternoon, I'm planting.

Should community-ism get as bad a rap as communism?

I think it's almost un-american to grow your own vegetables...actually it's un-american to eat vegetables, isn't it?

absolutely. unless you're talking about ketchup. Ketchup is a vegetable.

that last one was from me, using Steven's computer. I doubt he knows about that whole ketchup is a vegetable thing.

i think jackson would consider ketchup a vegetable. yesterday he was dipping his peanut butter sandwich in it.

chiara,

i think jackson and my clarita will be a good match. she dips her broccoli in ketchup which sounds as appetizing to me as pb sandwich with ketchup does.

I was thinking it sounded like Jackson is having sympathy pregnancy cravings. but maybe it's just a toddler thing.
