corn rows

remember my crazy idea for roof top corn?

it's in!  I've got 6 earthboxes full of corn, 16 plants each.  good thing corn freezes well!
(do you think corn and lima beans are ready at the same time? I am daydreaming about fresh picked succotash.)

Aren't little baby corn plants adorable?

Like your corn garden!

You just posted on my blog and I looked for an email address to reply to you but don't see one on your blog or blogger ID. So I wanted to tell you to try this tutorial if you want to make a doll. It looks easier than the one I made on my blog (I don't have the best sewing skills!)

Love your blog and just added it to my google reader. Thanks for reading mine!

I wonder if corn grows as fast as bamboo. Sure is fast though... Midwestern torture? Perhaps that word should no longer be used lightly.

This is such a great idea. I wonder if it's too late to plant.

I planted the seeds about 2 weeks ago and they are growing like crazy. Everyday I think they are a half inch taller. The seed pack they came in says 95 days from germination to harvest and that puts us at the end of August which seems right. But maybe that's 95 days somewhere warmer and souther than here.
We'll see!
