good eats

It's gotten hot in the last few days and the early spring crops in the garden are starting to bolt. (bolt=go to seed-for you non gardeners) So tonight, and for the next few nights we're going to be having home grown spinach, fennel, lettuce or arugula for dinner!
and probably for lunch too.
And maybe some spinach omelets for breakfast.

That sounds great actually! We are slowly discovering hidden gems in our garden and are definitely going to plant more for next spring. I would love to pick my own salad!

You can also freeze these and other herbs, so you can enjoy them all year round. Happy spinach-month! Jayne
