As much as I love the one I have, I need a new everyday handbag. I want one that's big enough to carry a book, my journal, a sandwich, my giant sunglasses in their giant case, my aluminum water bottle, and occasionally a few groceries when I forget to bring a canvas bag to the store. Basically, even though we don't yet have kids, I want a giant mom bag that's pretty and durable.I've been looking around, especially since things are going on sale, but haven't found "the one" yet.
I like this one, but it's too expensive and it looks like it would weigh 12 pounds empty. Online shops should list weight in addition to materials and dimensions for handbags.

agreed! weight is so important.
I think Jackson would be very helpful in finding me a new bag while we're in New York, if only because I would need to make up my mind fast to get him out of the store as soon as possible!
