pouf!

I've been looking for an outdoor stool/pouf/thingy for a little while, something like Paola Lenti's outdoor Shell poufs, but less expensive! I spotted one of theirs at a sample sale a few years ago, but even 70% off it was still out of my price range.


I also love Flocks knitted wool pouf. (but they're still a bit pricey and it don't go outside.)

The other day I saw this post on apartment therapy about Inke Visser's poufs made from macramed polyester cord stretched over an old tire, and I thought, "hey! I can make that!"

Orion Motors (our wonderful mechanic) gave me a an old tire they had around, and I'm shopping around for some cord so I can get to work knitting myself a pouf!
