I promise this will be my last homegrown heirloom tomato porn post, at least for a little while, but aren't they beautiful?


Steven's going to make the world's biggest tomato sauce batch tonight and we're going to eat some and freeze a ton.

    Wow! Let me know how it went. We wanted to do this, but our tomatoes got blight a few weeks ago! So many tomatoes...gone!

    A ton sounds pretty spot on, considering what you've got before you. Jeez.

    Do you can or just straight freeze your sauce? I'm dealing with a similar situation a (though, nowhere near as drastic!) and looking for good recipes/solutions.
