Because of all the excitement we've had the past few weeks, for Steven's birthday we decided to take it easy.
After work we took the dogs for a walk down by Whitmore Lake. (which, as far as I can tell, is a river.)
And after the doggies had the best time two pooches ever had and were completely worn out, we took them home and went out to dinner.
The guy who played Ross Geller on Friends was sitting at the table next to ours, and it was a little weird to see a famous person in Ann Arbor.
Maybe he's in town to check out the school of paleontology?

Happy birthday to your man. I love a casual affair.
Happy bday Mr. Gus & other things.
As an Archaeologist, I like that maybe Ross is in town checking out the Palentology Dept!
Such cute pooches! I love taking my dogs hiking—they sleep for hours when we get home and they seem to like it so much better than a walk around the neighborhood.
Did you say anything to David Schwimmer? I would've had to tell him they weren't on a break. ; )
Sounds nice and relaxing.
Crazy that you saw Ross! Love that episode where they travel to some exotic location for a paleontology convention and Monica's hair gets so frizzy lol :)
One time in St. Paul Shannon and I were sitting at a table next to a guy who sounded exactly like David Schwimmer. I never turned around to look - and it obviously wasn't him because from the context, it seemed like he was eating dinner with his parents and whining about his life - but it was fun imagining it was him.
Hahahaha-- oh man. Too funny that you saw "Ross," while at dinner- perhaps your hunch was right ;) And Happy Belated Birthday to Steven!
Beautiful area, I would love to go there one day. And you had luck to see this Friends' guy what his name was... Davis something. I think he is cute :)
This place looks beautiful. I think it is a great idea to go for a walk! It is great you saw this famous and handsome guy personally
