end of an era
As I started noticing the lists of "notable things that happened this year" popping up everywhere the past few weeks something dawned on me- this December 31st won't just be the end of a year, it will be the end of a decade!
How the heck did that happen?!? I just got used to refering to this decade as the aughts, for pete's sake! (Anyone know what are we supposed to call next decade until the teens start?)
Oh well, my favorite list so far is Billboard's Best One Hit Wonders of the 2000's. It's full of really annoying, horrible songs, and I will never admit which ones I love anyway.
And I'm not offering any clues by posting Daniel Powter's Bad Day- it's number one.

The same thing happened to me yesterday while watching the news! Seriously, where *does* the time go?
Anyway, I like this song, sappy and saccharine as it is...
I refer to it as the "onesies." Seems appropriate for this stage in my life.
I am an unabashed fan of "Oops (Oh My)" by Tweet.
I keep on thinking about it all the time. Why does it have to go so fast and why we aren't able to do anything? As for the song I love playing it when my day was really bad and dwelling on myself being so poor...
