best weekend ever

With so far so good news for Gus, enough snow for cross country skiing, and maybe even a little romance on Sunday, I think this is going to be a pretty dang good next couple days. I hope you a wonderful weekend and a very happy Valentine's day. And I want to thank you all again for all your kind comments and good wishes for Gus, I'm truly touched.

And since I didn't blog about much other than my injured husband and my sick puppy this week here's an extra long list of fun stuff from the interwebs:

lovely constellation prints.

my niece Riley turns two pretty soon and I would love to get her one of these outfits, or maybe one of these outfits. (shopping for little girls could not be more fun!)

Norwegians are hilarious!

fun stuff to make with kids.

I don't know any of Steven's students, but I want to go to U of M's graduation this year.

Food for thought.

my girl crush on Tina Fey just got worse.

My hero.

beautiful infrared photography.

beautiful photos of man eating plants. (ok, just meat eating, but man eating sounds funnier.)

beautiful photos of Detroit by Scott Hocking.

beautiful photos of Baby Cade by Kate Mathis.

Here's how my little pony turned a girl into a computer scientist. (just goes to show that play is important!)

speaking of playing, this makes me want to run around in the sprinkler. (moose are huge!)

1, 2, 3, 4, I declare a tee shirt war.

If you watch the ski jumpers at the Olympics, keep in mind that the world record holder isn't allowed to compete there. Why? Because she's a girl. (I can't believe there isn't more press about this. It's ridiculous.)

Check out Lauren's GORGEOUS Valentines!

And finally, if you're in the area, go to the Love Sick dance party at MoCAD this weekend!
