It's a bit expensive for something I'm sure to lose the second time I use it, but I think
this cork umbrella is pretty cool (even though I am a bit baffled by it- who knew cork was so flexible?)
Cork is sustainable, water resistant and really pretty.
awesome!

It's rainy and cold today in NYC... this umbrella is pretty bad ass! I wonder if it would hold up to the "wind" test. I feel like I wore tear a hole in it!?

Very cool! I didn't realize cork was so durable! Have a good weekend :)
I've seen something similar in a design class on sustainability I had to take. Cork is so surprising isn't it? A huge fan.
that is very very cool! I wonder if it folds up like a regular umbrella.

I've never seen a cork umbrella, and I really like it. But I agree with Sarah and wonder if it would hold up to the NYC wind test.
love love love this.
sadly the amount of rain we get here in arizona does not justify the buying of such a beautiful umbrella.
i will live vicariously through those of you that live in the rainy cities!
That umbrella is beautiful! I'm amazed they could get the cork thin enough for the canopy. I feel like I would just display it in my home though, I'd never have the guts to use it outside I'd be so worried it would get damaged.
wow, this is cool! :)
Wish I would've known this when I lived in Seattle. I would make a cork purse :)
Oh, thank you! That's exactly what I've bee searching for in an umbrella! Hurrah!
And oh, damnit. I just saw the price tag.
That would be a great conversation starter. I love that you loose umbrellas. That's just so random to me because I have so many from years ago. Kind of like shoes- they are always in my closet.
i love it!!! lovely thoughts
