in the attic

I like retro tees as much as the next girl, and read all the Flowers in the Attic books as a tween, but am I the only one who thinks it's really weird to put a book about incest on a tee shirt?

Then again, that model looks like she was locked in and attic and poisoned by her mother, so maybe on her it makes sense.

I remember watching the movie as well! The book was scarier I thought~

Ha Ha Ha. She DOES kind of look like that. I remember reading that book a million years ago and yes, it is an odd choice for a tshirt.

I do remember reading those books another lifetime ago! Yeah, a rather odd choice for a tee - haha, but pretty good choice for a model that looks like that!

Haha! You are so funny!!! And yes, I would never wear that shirt. Way too creepy. Watched the movie and the book and it still creeps me out.

lol!! In class last nite my teacher was talking about how FDR married is first cousin.. and I found myself wondering why we put up monuments celebrating people that did that sort of thing. I don't care if it WAS 100 years ago. It's still wrong.

FDR and Eleanor Roosevelt were fifth cousins, not first cousins! Yikes!!! Tell your teacher!

To put that in some perspective Hillary Clinton and Celine Dion are sixth cousins, and Barack Obama and Lynne Cheney are too.

Now that is a cool shirt, but I totally don't remember the book!

Hahaha I'm glad you said it. I saw the pic first and thought, "What a creepy shirt."

she does look like death.

That is really strange. I don't think I'd be too comfortable wearing this at all.

Ummmm yeah... it's just a little creepy for a shirt (despite getting completely sucked into those books as a teen!)
