After 3 years tending to my (pain in the ass) citrus plant, it has finally produced one tangerine!!
I kinda want to have it bronzed instead of eating it, but that'd be silly.
I love the bronzing! And Kristin's idea of framing a pic for postery :) You could probably dry the citrus peel (isn't that a popular tea supplement in various parts of the world?) and keep that for eternity.

I don't blame you for wanting to commemorate it forever! When I finally got my roses to bloom, I must have taken close to 100 photos!
I asked for a lemon tree for Christmas. I hope I have been luck...I don't think I would tolerate 3 years and 1 fruit.
Bronze it!!!! Did you know tangerines are HUGE in the Japanese household. Like, they are literally part of shrines.
How about framing a pic of it for posterity?

Nice job! I know what you mean! I have a meyer lemon for 3 years and it has yet to grow one lemon!
I say bronze it. It's the product of your painstaking care.
Hooray! Oh, and it's a beauty too. Definitely eat it, but do so very, very slowly. Savor every single bite.
No bronze, gilt it!! :)
LOL! I guess a picture is the next best thing :) congrats!!
Woohoo!
That is WONDERFUL! I mean, not many people can grow citrus outside of the tropical weather. So I say bronze it :)
you could make a cast of it and make it in clay :)
you've done a fantastic job of memorializing the tangerine in that photo. Beautiful!
