Yesterday, I picked 25 pounds of strawberries and made some strawberry, strawberry/rhubarb, and strawberry lavender jam. I still have about 15 pounds of strawberries left (help) and I smell like a Strawberry Shortcake doll.
Speaking of Strawberry Shortcake, did you know they redesigned her a few years ago? Care Bears too. Ew. Is nothing sacred?

Yummy! I don't think my girls believe me when i say i used to watch Strawberry short cake and the care bears and they didn't look like that.

Aww, I remember growing up with the classic Strawberry Shortcake. I even had bedding with her on it. And how ever did you end up with so many strawberries? You should have your own festival!
