I made this cake a few weeks ago and honestly, I didn't like it. It was beautiful, but took forever to make and it was way too sweet. The candied hazelnuts were good though.
creampuffsinvenice has a recipe for a different crepe cake that they say is fantastic. maybe one day when I am feeling especially obsessive I will try it.
