My camera's batteries ran out right after we got here, but we had a great day. We volunteered making care packages for the troops and met DC mayor, Adrian Fenty. Later, we met up with our friend Amanda and had a delightful Belgian dinner at a restaurant called Brasserie Beck.
I haven't broken down and bought any Obama parafinalia, yet, but there is so much stuff and so many people selling it (star wars Obama t shirts etc) I may have become immune to its charms.
I do want this tee shirt that are apparently all over New York. I saw it on Boing Boing.
(btw, I am weak and broke down and bought that dress I fantasized about buying only in navy blue. so that is what I will be wearing to the ball!)
