I just read this hilarious list of 20 complaints English travelers made to their travel agents when they returned home. (one complaint was that "the beach was too sandy")
my two favorites are:
"No one told us there would be fish in the sea. The children were startled."
"On my holiday to Goa in India, I was disgusted to find that almost every restaurant served curry. I do not like spicy food at all."
