the Otis Historical Archives of the National Museum of Health and Medicine has begun putting images of its archives online.

It's an amazing collection of photos, including an x-ray of a soldier in Vietnam with a grenade embedded in his forehead.

warnings about Malaria and lots of other things. Some of the images are gross, many are sad, all are interesting.  more not for the squeamish images here.
