fantastico!

Two things I really, really want that are ridiculous to think of having in my little house on an eighth of an acre?  An outdoor fireplace and a real pizza oven.
Imagine my joy when I saw this video about at the LA Times about building a make shift brick pizza oven inside your regular oven!
I am so going to try this over the weekend.
more how to info here

via a guy who tried it with fabulous results at boing boing

have a great weekend!

It looks so easy! I can't imagine what the electric bill will be for having the oven that high. I ended up making pizza three nights this week alone, after accidentally making too much dough. But each of them would have been so much tastier were they cooked in a real brick oven. You'll have to post on how it works for you.

yeah preheating the oven to 500 for an hour is sure to be an energy drain, but I wonder if I can bake bread in there too!
So many possibilities.
Uh oh. We may need to get a personal wind turbine!
