My mom's friend gave me a fantastic present the other day, scraps of Fortuny Fabric!
Fortuny fabric is hand dyed and printed in Venice, with special techniques that were patented a century ago. Because it is handmade, every run is slightly different and all of them are way out of my price range!There are pieces that are big enough to make some throw pillows, especially if I put a different fabric on the back side.
I think I might use the smaller pieces to make little stuffed animals like the delightful ones by Clive and Sunshine)
