extra extra

Like most people I know, I read the paper online. But I still love the smell and feel of a real printed newspaper.

Which might be why I kind of love Lori Weitzer's new wallpaper made from recycled newspaper. It's made the same way grass cloth is, replacing the grass with strips of newspaper. You can even still make out some of the text.

There is nothing like the feeling of newspaper and the method of folding those huge pages while browsing through it. Great idea about the wallpaper! I would even frame pieces of it in antique frames in a study or studio.

I miss reading a real paper... I only do it on Sundays and the smell and traces of ink it leaves on your fingers cannot be compared to anything else! This wallpaper is a wonderful idea!

What a great idea! Would be perfect for a home office or a kids room. I'm so afraid there won't be any printed word left by the time my future kids are able to read. I know what you mean about that newspaper smell, there is nothing like it!

That is so fun! I love the newspaper... funnies are just funnier when you are holding them. And it makes great wrapping paper.

Awesome on the wall, but I have to admit, I hate to even touch a newspaper. Something about the texture and the dirty ink. I know, my parents didn't teach me right.

I love old newspapers - being a history teacher, I love saving them for stories and headlines!

Very cool. If I had this in my house, I bet I would walk by and try to make words out. =)

This is very cool, though I worry I would end up spending my days trying to decode the text hidden in the wall paper. But texture like that one the walls? I love it.

I still love an actual newspaper, even though I always end up with a black ink smudge on my face! Now, that wallpaper is a must have. Haven't seen it before, so thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend.

Definitely feel sentimental about real paper, which is why I find this wallpaper precious.
