I baked a cake for a party yesterday, but it turned out the party wasn't yesterday it's NEXT Tuesday.
I am a moron. A moron with a lot of extra cake.
Please come get it! And bring me a calendar when you do.
(Tartine's chiffon cake, with homemade strawberry rhubarb jam and swiss meringue butter cream. It's really fricken good, but my favorite part is how the pink plate is part of the pink scale.)

oh god, this sounds like something I would do. One time I packed all of my stuff, called a cab and went to check out of my hotel while on vacation, and the front desk informed me that I wasn't scheduled to leave until the following day. :\
Oh my, I would LOVE to have a slice of this incredibly delicious and beautiful looking cake!
