In comments about the pear trees Steven mentioned that in Belgium they put bottles on pollinated pears and let them grow inside the bottle. Then they put brandy in there and let the pear infuse it.
I've never had it but, I found some images of what the bottles look like, and if we ever get a pear tree I am so going to try that.
