Halloween

As far as I am concerned it's way too early to think about such things, but how cute are these baby Halloween costumes from Oeuf?

I usually have a hard time getting motivated to get dressed up on Halloween but always feel lame for showing up to parties without a costume. I think I could handle putting on a hat and some socks so I kinda wish these came in adult sizes.

I think I could fashion something for myself because they remind me a little bit of the little bear outfit I knitted for Jackson a couple years ago when he was a baby.

I still have the card Chiara had made on my bulletin board because I love it so much.

sorry jackson

I screwed up the sleeve on your sweater and had to start it over.  I got so frustrated that I had to move on to something else for a day, which is how I discovered the magic of giant yarn. (I know I am a little late to this game.)
Inspired by Pip-Squeak Chapeau, I got some fat yarn and some fat (size 16) needles yesterday and knitted an entire scarf in about 2 hours.
It's a Christmas miracle!
Scarves for everyone!
or better yet, hats!
I think I could bust out a hat in a half hour.

for Jackson

Summer heat kept me from finishing a sweater I have been working on for Jackson's first birthday (which was in May!)  but now that nights are cooler I am back at it.  This is what I am making and I kept it gray because just like the baby in the book, Jackson has the bluest eyes you've ever seen! I hope he doesn't out grow the sweater I'm making before I finish it!

This is a sweater I made for my niece Riley this past spring.
